Remember that yellow Yamaha RD350 cafe racer we featured? This bike belongs to the same gentleman. This is Brandon's Honda NT650 Hawk, or whats left of it. It was pure coincidence that we had a nearly bone stock NT650 in for service when Brandon dropped this one off. Looking at the two bikes you would have never guessed they were the same bike. The NT650 was Honda's shot at the early Ducati Monster. Its has a V-twin motor, a light frame, and single sided swing arm. When I first saw this bike I had so many questions. I love it because it has so many awesome, one-off custom parts for racing. Jim brought the bike to us for some refreshing before his upcoming race...

Most people fall in love with motorcycles when they are young. This was a bike that sparked someone's love for bikes. That person happened to be the owner of Atlanta Motorcycle Works. This bike sits in the shop when Joe isn't riding it. One day while we were closing up the shop I finally asked Joe if there was a story behind how the bike came to be.     Joe had a buddy when he was in high school that had an RD400 DS. Joe was 17 years old at the time but by the way he described his buddy's...
