Originating in Tokyo, Japan at the 'Brat Style' shop owned by Go Takamine, brat bikes have their own distinctive style but limitless interpretations. With their flat or slightly upswept seat, stripped down style and more comfortable upright seating position this type of custom is getting to be more and more popular around the globe.

When a client came to us wanting his own take on this style the AMW team jumped at the chance. Starting with this bone stock '71 CB750 and a couple of photos from the client for inspiration, we were able to build him his dream brat.

After removing everything superfluous a good deal of powder coating and paint was done to get this bike looking right. The wheels, hubs, fork lowers and headlight bracket were all powder coated gloss black while the tank and side covers were shot matte black giving this brat a unique look.

Here you get a good view where we chopped the frame and welded on the custom hoop. The Vintage Firestone Deluxe tires, clubman bars and custom 4 into 1 exhaust with heat wrap really suit the look of this reborn classic.
